The GLS85LS SATA NANDrive packages a Greenliant NAND controller and NAND flash into a single BGA device, so the storage is soldered straight onto the host board. That removes the M.2 or SATA connector, the mounting hardware and the cable - the three parts of a storage subsystem that fail first under shock and vibration. Greenliant NANDrive parts are selected for ruggedised computers and other mission-critical programs that require a long, stable supply of industrial managed NAND.
