Overview
ATP's Momentum industrial enterprise line is the PCIe Gen4 NVMe family for AI and edge deployments that need datacenter-style integrity in an industrial package. The same drive class is offered across three form factors — M.2 2280 for embedded and edge boxes, U.2 for rackmount edge servers, and E1.S for dense front-loading chassis — so a platform design can move between them without changing storage family.
Performance reaches 6,450 MB/s sequential read on the M.2 configuration and around 6,000 to 6,400 MB/s on U.2 and E1.S, with capacities from 240 GB up to 7.68 TB. Endurance is selectable at 1, 2 or 5 DWPD depending on whether the slot is a boot device, a read-intensive analytics cache or a mixed-workload data path.
The feature that separates this from consumer NVMe is the protection layer. MCU-based power loss protection with Level 4 data-in-flight integrity means an unplanned power cut does not lose writes that were committed at the host, and an uncorrectable bit error rate below 1 in 10^17 keeps the drive inside enterprise data-integrity budgets. Industrial-temperature operation is available where the enclosure runs hot.
QS Compute supplies the ATP Momentum family in M.2, U.2 and E1.S, and will quote matched capacity sets for edge servers, multi-node inference clusters, rugged industrial computers and video analytics platforms.
Key Benefits
One drive family, three form factors: M.2, U.2 and E1.S simplify platform design and spares. Level 4 power loss protection: committed writes survive unplanned power loss. Selectable endurance: 1, 2 or 5 DWPD matched to the slot's real workload. Up to 7.68 TB at Gen4 speeds: analytics-scale capacity in a single industrial drive.
Applications
Boot and data drives in edge servers, embedded AI inference boxes, rugged industrial computers, video analytics and NVR platforms, in-vehicle and transport computing, factory-floor data-logging systems, and telemetry or instrumentation platforms where power is not guaranteed clean.
