The ADATA IM2S3168 is the SATA fallback for platforms whose M.2 socket is wired for SATA rather than PCIe — common on ARM edge computers, industrial single-board computers and legacy x86 embedded boards. It gives the same 3D TLC NAND and industrial temperature options as ADATA's NVMe line at SATA III speeds, which is ample for OS images, container layers and local data logging.
