Overview
The OrangePi 6 Plus is built around the CIX CD8180/CD8160 SoC — a 12-core ARMv9.2 processor with four Cortex-A720 cores at 2.8 GHz, four Cortex-A720 at 2.4 GHz and four Cortex-A520 cores at 1.8 GHz. A dedicated 28.8 TOPS NPU and an Arm Immortalis-G720 MC10 GPU bring combined AI compute to 45 TOPS.
With up to 64 GB of LPDDR5, dual 5GbE Ethernet ports and twin M.2 2280 NVMe slots, it targets on-device large-language-model inference, edge AI and homelab workloads in a compact board form factor.
Key Benefits
45 TOPS of combined AI compute and up to 64 GB LPDDR5 with dual 5GbE and dual NVMe — ARMv9.2 performance that runs on-device large models at the edge.
Applications
On-device LLM inference, edge AI gateways, smart NVR and video analytics, robotics controllers, industrial automation and homelab AI servers.
