Overview
The Milk-V Pioneer is a developer motherboard based on the SOPHGO SG2042 in a standard mATX form factor. With 64 RISC-V C920 cores at up to 2.0 GHz, 128 GB of DDR4 ECC memory and PC-style interfaces, it delivers a native RISC-V development environment and desktop experience.
Dual PCIe Gen4 x16 slots with CCIX support, five SATA ports, dual M.2 M-Key sockets and 2.5GbE networking make it suitable for workstation, switch and NAS roles. A complete Pioneer Box bundle is also available with memory, SSD, 10GbE NIC and GPU pre-installed.
Key Benefits
64 RISC-V cores in a standard mATX board with 128 GB DDR4 ECC and dual PCIe Gen4 x16 — the highest core count available for native RISC-V development, with PC-class expansion and the Jiachen Project software ecosystem behind it.
Applications
Native RISC-V software development and CI/build farms, RISC-V workstation and desktop builds, storage/NAS servers, routing and switching prototypes, and parallel compute research.
