Overview
The AAEON GENE-ARH6 is a 3.5-inch subcompact industrial SBC built on Intel Core Ultra 200H and 200U Arrow Lake processors. With a Core Ultra 7 255H fitted, AAEON rates the board at up to 96 TOPS, combining the 74 TOPS Arc 140T integrated GPU with the 13 TOPS Intel AI Boost NPU. The 15 W U-series options trade peak performance for a 15 W power envelope.
Memory support is unusually generous for the 3.5-inch form factor: up to 96 GB of DDR5-6400 across two SODIMM slots using 2x 48 GB non-ECC modules. Storage can come from an M.2 2280 M-Key NVMe drive or a SATA III port with its own +5 V power connector, and low-speed expansion covers GPIO, SMBus or I2C and multiple USB ports.
Display connectivity is where the GENE-ARH6 separates itself from typical 3.5-inch boards. HDMI 2.1 runs to 8K60 or 4K120, DisplayPort 2.0++ reaches 7680 x 4320 at 30 bpp, eDP 1.4b HBR3 covers 4K60, and dual-channel LVDS handles 1920 x 1080 legacy panels — up to four simultaneous displays. Networking is a Gigabit port on an Intel I219 controller plus two 2.5 GbE ports on Intel I226 controllers with vPro support on the Ultra 7 265H SKU, and a 61-pin FPC connector brings out MIPI-CSI for a camera.
