The Neousys RGS-9805GC represents a paradigm shift in edge computing — a rugged HPC server that brings datacenter-class compute to the harshest field environments. Built around an AMD EPYC 9005 "Turin" processor delivering up to 160 cores and 320 threads at 400W, paired with dual NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 MAX-Q GPUs, the RGS-9805GC is purpose-engineered for Physical AI workloads: high-speed autonomous trucking, in-vehicle HD mapping, real-time multi-sensor fusion, and autonomous logistics in environments where traditional server hardware would fail within hours.
Unlike conventional datacenter servers that require climate-controlled rooms, the RGS-9805GC operates reliably from -25°C to 60°C ambient, with documented non-throttling performance ceilings of 300W CPU + 200W GPU at 55°C and 400W CPU + 300W GPU at 45°C. MIL-STD-810H shock and vibration certification — including 50G ±Z-axis impact testing — ensures survivability in vehicle-mounted and mobile deployment scenarios. The compact 3U enclosure at just 388mm depth fits standard 19" racks while being shallow enough for mobile cabinets and autonomous vehicle trunks.
Safety and reliability features set the RGS-9805GC apart from any other HPC server on the market. An onboard ASIL-B automotive-grade MCU provides functionally safe system monitoring with isolated CAN 2.0 bus communication, isolated digital outputs for emergency shutdown triggers, and a dedicated RS-232 health telemetry port — capabilities typically found only in safety-critical automotive ECUs, now integrated into a 160-core AI server. Dual 10GbE ports with Broadcom 57416 controllers support RDMA and RoCEv2 for low-latency distributed computing.
With seven total PCIe Gen5 x16 slots, 384GB of ECC DDR5-6000 memory, and 9-32VDC wide-range ignition-controlled power input, the RGS-9805GC eliminates the artificial separation between "server room" and "field deployment." QS Compute supplies the RGS-9805GC with full engineering support for integration into autonomous vehicle platforms, defence systems, and rugged edge data centers.
