Overview
The IEI GAIA Series is a single product family built to answer four factory-floor problems at once: AI compute performance, control precision, cyber resilience and physical durability. Rather than one box, it is a ladder of edge AI servers spanning 100 TOPS to more than 1,000 TOPS, so an AOI cell at the low end and an LLM inference node at the top can be procured, deployed and managed as one platform generation.
At the top of the x86 range, the GAIA-5040A pairs an AMD EPYC Siena processor with three PCIe Gen4 x16 slots and four onboard M.2 NVMe slots for large language model and multimodal inference. The GAIA-3010I targets machine vision and automated optical inspection on a 14th Gen Intel Core i9. The PUZZLE-9070 adds 100 GbE networking for workloads where inference is distributed across several nodes. On the Arm side, GAIA-NAGX and GAIA-NNX bring the same industrial enclosure discipline to NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin and Orin NX modules.
IEI has aligned the launch with the EU Cyber Resilience Act, building on IEC 62443-4-1 secure development across the range, and offers DNV-certified maritime variants and IP69K stainless-steel washdown systems for food and beverage plants. QS Compute supplies the GAIA series for AOI, medical imaging and LLM edge deployments — contact us with your TOPS, form-factor and networking requirements for a configured quote.
Key Benefits
One family, four orders of scale. 100 TOPS industrial AOI boards and 1,000+ TOPS LLM servers share enclosure, management and security conventions. Real-time control included. TANK-XM811 and DRPC-W-ASL integrate Mitsubishi SWM-G motion control with ROS2 robot control. Compliance-ready. IEC 62443-4-1 development practice and CRA-readiness across the range.
Applications
Automated optical inspection on production lines, medical imaging and diagnostics, LLM and multimodal inference at the plant edge, robot and motion control integration, maritime and offshore platforms on DNV-certified hardware, and food and beverage plants needing IP69K washdown systems.
