Overview
The IBASE ES1002 is a 4U rackmount Edge AI server built on the MBB1002 eATX motherboard and powered by AMD EPYC 8004 (Siena) embedded processors. Siena brings up to 64 cores and 128 threads at a 225W cTDP — server-class x86 throughput tuned for the power and thermal envelope of an edge deployment rather than a hyperscale hall.
Five PCIe Gen5 x16 slots, three of them CXL-capable, give the platform room for multiple GPU or accelerator cards, NVMe storage and high-speed networking in a single chassis. Six DDR5-4800 RDIMM slots carry up to 576GB of ECC memory, so large in-memory inference and analytics datasets stay resident at the edge.
Dual Intel X710-AT2 10GbE ports and MCIO x4 NVMe lanes round out the I/O for real-time analytics, AI inference and data-center-class workloads positioned close to where the data is produced.
