Overview
The GIGABYTE G4L4-SD3-LAX7 is a 4U dual-socket HPC/AI server built around the NVIDIA HGX B300 eight-GPU baseboard, with dual Intel Xeon 6700 or 6500-series processors driving host-side PCIe fan-out. It sits in the G4L4 tier of GIGABYTE's Blackwell server line-up, above the G4L3 AMD platform.
The chassis ships with direct liquid cooling, matching the rest of GIGABYTE's GB300-class rack programme - its GB300 NVL72 platform is a fully liquid-cooled, rack-scale design combining 72 Blackwell Ultra GPUs with 36 Arm-based Grace CPUs.
GIGABYTE positions the platform for both stand-alone node deployment and integration into GIGAPOD AI factory builds, which wrap compute, switching, CDU and power shelves into a validated rack.
Key Benefits
Xeon 6700/6500 socket pair: the performance-core Xeon tier suits latency-sensitive host-side preprocessing next to B300 accelerators. Factory direct liquid cooling: cold plates and manifolds are integrated at build rather than field-fitted. GIGAPOD integration path: the node is a supported building block for GIGABYTE's validated AI factory racks.
Applications
Foundation model training and fine-tuning, HPC simulation accelerated on B300 GPUs, enterprise AI inference, research cluster deployments, and GIGAPOD AI factory builds.
