Overview

The ASUS XA NB3I-E12 is an eight-GPU rack server built on the NVIDIA HGX B300 system, aimed at enterprises and cloud service providers running intensive AI workloads. It pairs the Blackwell Ultra GPU baseboard with NVIDIA ConnectX-8 InfiniBand SuperNICs, and carries 32 DIMM slots, 10 NVMe drive bays and five PCIe expansion slots.

ASUS positions the XA NB3I-E12 as a building block rather than a standalone appliance. It is the server tier of the ASUS AI Factory, an end-to-end foundation spanning hardware, optimised software platforms and professional services that deploys AI workloads from edge devices to large-scale AI supercomputing environments.

For scale, the same architecture extends upward into the ASUS AI POD built on the NVIDIA GB200 and GB300 NVL72 platforms. The XA NB3I-E12 shipped from September 2025 and was publicly debuted at the 2025 OCP Global Summit in San Jose.
