Overview

The Intel Arc Pro B70 is the flagship of Intel's Battlemage professional line — a dual-slot PCIe 5.0 x16 card built around the full BMG-G31 die on TSMC N5. It pairs 32 Xe2-HPG cores and 256 XMX engines with 32 GB of ECC-capable GDDR6 on a 256-bit bus at 19 Gbps for 608 GB/s of bandwidth, and is rated at 367 INT8 TOPS and 22.94 TFLOPS FP32 with a 230 W total board power that can be configured anywhere between 160 W and 290 W.

The practical case for the B70 in AI workstations is memory per dollar. At 32 GB per card, four cards in a single chassis present 128 GB of pooled VRAM — enough for large mixture-of-experts models at concurrency levels that previously required considerably more spend. Intel's own Linux figures put the card at roughly double the tokens per dollar of the nearest comparable NVIDIA option, with substantially larger KV-cache headroom at the same context length. It is worth noting one deployment change over the B60: the B70 is a single GPU on a full PCIe 5.0 x16 link, whereas the B60 shipped as dual-GPU cards splitting a slot x8/x8, so four-card chassis population changes.

Beyond inference, the B70 is a capable professional visualisation card — four DisplayPort 2.1 outputs at up to 8K120, strong OpenCL compute and Blender throughput, and a compact dual-slot blower design that exhausts out the rear bracket so multi-card builds keep a clean airflow path. QS Compute supplies the Intel Arc Pro and data centre GPU range to workstation, OEM and integrator programmes; contact us for availability, configuration and volume pricing.

Key Benefits

32 GB per card with ECC. 128 GB pooled across a four-card workstation for large MoE and long-context models. 367 INT8 TOPS at 230 W. Configurable down to 160 W for thermally constrained chassis. Compact dual-slot blower. Rear-exhaust airflow suited to dense multi-GPU builds. Professional visualisation included. Four DisplayPort 2.1 outputs at 8K120 alongside OpenCL and Blender-class compute.

Applications

Multi-GPU local LLM inference workstations, AI model development and fine-tuning, 120B-class mixture-of-experts serving at the desk, RAG and long-context inference with large KV caches, professional 3D rendering and visualisation, video and content creation, CAE and data science acceleration.
