The AMD Instinct MI455X is the flagship of AMD's Instinct MI400 series, built on the fifth-generation CDNA 5 architecture. It pairs 432 GB of HBM4 at 23.3 TB/s — the largest memory footprint of any AI accelerator — with 40 PFLOPS of FP4 compute for agentic AI training and inference.
Fabricated on TSMC 2nm/3nm process with advanced CoWoS-L packaging and 3D hybrid-bonded chiplets (8 XCDs, ~32,000 GPU cores), the MI455X is positioned as AMD's answer to the NVIDIA Rubin generation, offering 50% more memory and higher FP8 throughput.
The MI455X powers AMD's Helios rack-scale platform (72 accelerators, 31 TB shared HBM4, 2.9 FP4 exaFLOPS). QS Compute can source MI455X accelerators for enterprise and sovereign AI deployments — contact us for cluster pricing and availability.
