Overview
The AMD Alveo X3522 is a low-latency Ethernet adapter from the Alveo X3 series. It provides four 10/25 GbE SFP28 ports in a low-profile, half-length PCIe card, giving high port density in servers where rack space and slot count are constrained.
The differentiator is latency determinism: full kernel bypass through Onload, TCPDirect and the ef_vi API keeps the packet path in user space, which is why leading trading firms, market makers, hedge funds and exchanges build execution and market-data infrastructure on this family. Hardware PTP timestamping supports regulatory capture and synchronised measurement.
