Overview
The Portwell WEBS-91J0 is a compact fanless embedded system aimed at industrial edge computing where efficiency, silence and long service life matter more than peak throughput. It ships with a choice of Intel Processor N150 or Intel Atom x7433RE (x7000RE series) silicon, letting integrators trade a little performance for the lower power envelope and extended availability of the Atom industrial line.
Connectivity is unusually generous for this class: three independent Gigabit Ethernet ports built on Intel Ethernet controllers, three USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs, and RS232/RS485 serial. That trio of network ports is the practical differentiator — it lets a single box sit on a segmented control network, a camera or device network and an uplink without an external switch. Expansion arrives through M.2 Key B, Mini PCIe and Micro SIM, covering NVMe storage, wireless and cellular modules.
Power is a wide 12V-24V DC range delivered through a secure 3-pin terminal block, which suits vehicle, machine and cabinet supplies with voltage sag. Memory is a single SO-DIMM channel of DDR4-3200 up to 32 GB. With no fans and no vents, the WEBS-91J0 needs no filter maintenance and can be mounted in sealed enclosures, on DIN rail or directly on machinery.
Key Benefits
Triple Gigabit Ethernet: segment control, device and uplink networks through one fanless box. Intel Atom x7000RE option: long-lifecycle industrial silicon for designs that must stay in production for years. 12V-24V wide DC input: tolerates the voltage sag of vehicle and machine supplies. Completely fanless: no moving parts, no filters, no scheduled maintenance. Flexible expansion: M.2 Key B, Mini PCIe and Micro SIM cover storage, wireless and cellular. Serial and dual display: RS232/RS485 plus HDMI and DisplayPort for legacy and HMI integration.
Applications
Industrial IoT gateways and protocol conversion; machine control and factory automation nodes; kiosk, digital signage and self-service controllers; smart building and access control systems; energy and utility monitoring stations; transport and vehicle-mounted computing; light edge inference and data aggregation; test and measurement instrumentation control.
