Overview
The ASRock Industrial iEP-7030E Series is a fanless industrial IoT controller built on the Intel Core Ultra 155H processor (Meteor Lake-H) running at 1.40 GHz with a 28W thermal design point. It combines Intel Arc (Xe LPG) graphics with an integrated NPU, so computer vision, automation and real-time analytics run on the device without a discrete accelerator card — the configuration ASRock and Intel position for AI-accelerated industrial edge computing.
Memory runs on two 262-pin SO-DIMM sockets at DDR5 5600 MHz for up to 64GB, which is enough headroom for multi-model vision pipelines and their buffers. Base I/O is one HDMI 2.0b output plus a VGA port for legacy panels, and three Intel LAN controllers — expandable to five on the 5LAN SKU. The series is split into five variants so the connectivity matches the application: Basic, 8DIO for digital I/O, PoE for powered cameras, 5LAN for multi-network segmentation, and 5G for cellular backhaul.
Electrically and mechanically it is specified for the plant floor: a dual 9V/19V to 36V wide-range DC input rather than a fixed adapter, an operating range of -25°C to 50°C with a -40°C to 85°C storage range, ESD protection of ±8 kV contact and ±15 kV air, DIN-rail mounting with optional wall mount, and CE / FCC Class A EMC plus LVD safety approval. A 120W 19V adapter covers the standard SKUs and a 330W part covers the PoE variant. Chassis dimensions run 55 × 134 × 170 mm for the Basic and 8DIO units and 68 × 134 × 170 mm for the PoE, 5LAN and 5G units, weighing 1.57 kg to 2.37 kg. Windows 11 and Linux are both supported.
