The Arduino Ventuno Q (ABX00181) is a dual-brain edge AI single-board computer that pairs a Qualcomm Dragonwing IQ8 (IQ-8275) application processor with an STM32H5F5 Arm Cortex-M33 microcontroller. The Dragonwing IQ8 delivers an 8-core Kryo CPU, Adreno 623 GPU, Spectra 692 ISP, and a Hexagon Tensor NPU rated up to 40 dense TOPS — enough on-device AI compute to run vision models, LLMs, and multimodal workloads directly at the edge. The STM32H5F5 "action brain" handles real-time I/O with sub-millisecond determinism, connected to the application processor over an RPC bridge.
Announced at Embedded World 2026 and launched in August 2026 at a $299 introductory price, the Ventuno Q is Arduino's second Qualcomm-based board (after the UNO Q) and the first to combine a Dragonwing IQ8 SoC with a discrete MCU. With 16GB LPDDR5, 64GB eMMC plus an M.2 NVMe Gen4 expansion slot, 2.5GbE and Wi-Fi 6 networking, 4K HDMI output, and triple MIPI-CSI camera inputs for 360° awareness and stereo depth, it targets robotics, autonomous systems, and physical AI applications where perception, decision, and action must run on a single board. Arduino's new App Lab toolchain adds drag-and-drop deployment of local LLMs, VLMs, and Whisper speech models.
