Overview

The SINTRONES SBOX-2624P-IP66 is a fanless embedded computer rated IP66, meaning the enclosure tolerates hose-directed water rather than merely splash. It pairs an AMD Ryzen Embedded R2312 processor with dual HDMI outputs, two Gigabit Ethernet ports that supply Power over Ethernet to cameras or access points, and two COM ports for legacy serial equipment.

Two certifications define where it belongs. EN 50155 qualifies the design for railway rolling stock, covering the supply-voltage variation, temperature range, shock and vibration a train installation imposes. IP66 then covers the installation itself — trackside cabinets, tunnels, wash-down industrial areas and outdoor kiosks where a standard IP20 box would fail on ingress.

The 9-36V DC input spans 12V and 24V nominal systems with margin for supply sag, and the fanless chassis removes a maintenance item from enclosures that are expensive to open. Typical deployments are train passenger information and monitoring nodes, marine bridge systems and unmanned outdoor cabinets.
