Overview
The Axiomtek IPC980 is an IP67 industrial computer that puts a socketed desktop-class Intel Core processor (14th, 13th or 12th Gen, up to 65 W) into a sealed, fanless-rated aluminium and steel enclosure with M12 locking I/O. It is the x86 counterpart to a ruggedized Jetson box: same environmental envelope, full Windows/Linux software stack.
Networking is three independent controllers on M12 X-coded connectors — two 2.5GbE (Intel I226-V) plus one GbE (Intel I219-LM) — with an RS-232/422/485 port and dual USB 2.0 also on M12 A-coded fittings. Storage is one 7/9.5/15 mm SATA bay with an optional second bay and an M.2 Key M 2280 NVMe slot on PCIe x4 Gen3.
The unit runs from 18 to 36 VDC with ACC ignition control, so it can be switched by a vehicle key line, and it is qualified to MIL-STD-810H for vibration (Method 514.8, Category 20) and shock (Method 516.8, Procedure I) while operating from -40°C to +60°C.
