Overview
The ASUS Ascent QN10 is the first mini PC built on Qualcomm's Snapdragon X2 Elite platform, and ASUS positions it as the world's first agentic AI mini PC. An 18-core third-generation Qualcomm Oryon CPU on a 3 nm process runs at a 65 W TDP alongside Adreno X2-90 graphics and a Hexagon NPU rated at 80 TOPS INT8 — comfortably above the Copilot+ PC threshold, with a second low-power micro-NPU pair in the Sensing Hub for always-on workloads.
The platform is unusually expandable for this class. Memory runs up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X at 8533 or 9600 MT/s, there are two M.2 2280 NVMe sockets (a populated PCIe Gen4 slot and a second free PCIe Gen5 slot), and three USB4 40 Gbps ports carry DisplayPort 2.1 video alongside the HDMI 2.1 output — up to four displays in total. 2.5GbE, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 cover the network side.
It all sits in a 130 x 130 x 40 mm chassis weighing under a kilogram, powered by a 180 W adapter. For industrial and commercial integrators the QN10 is the ARM-based counterpart to x86 AI mini PCs: local inference, LLM and agent workloads running on-device rather than in a cloud subscription, with the Armv9 toolchain shared across Qualcomm's broader edge portfolio.
Key Benefits
80 TOPS NPU in an under-1 kg chassis enables agentic AI, local LLM inference and multi-stream video analytics without a server. A free PCIe Gen5 M.2 slot and three USB4 ports make it a hub rather than an appliance, suitable for storage expansion or high-speed capture. 2.5GbE plus Wi-Fi 7 keep large model and dataset transfers off the critical path.
Applications
On-device agentic AI and local LLM serving, retail and branch-office AI, digital signage and multi-display workstations, edge video analytics nodes, and developer workstations for Arm-native AI stacks.
